GENERAL MANAGERR
Denny has been working in the beer industry since the end of 2010. As a professional brewer, he had the opportunity to work with several brewhouse sizes (2hL, 5hL, 35hL, 117hL), from manual to automated systems, as well as cellaring, centrifuging, and, different filtering systems. Denny also has experience in quality assurance and quality control using gas chromatography, spectroscopy, chemical techniques, microscopy, and sensory evaluation tests.
His formal education includes graduation from the Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program from Niagara College, as well as the Advanced Course in Brewing Technology with the Technical University of Munich (Weihenstephan University) seal. Additionally, he also attended many other courses (Beer Sommelier, Master in Styles) and certifications (WSET wine, WSET spirit).
He is a judge from the international competition US Open Beer and US Open Cider since 2017. He is also a College Instructor from the Brewing Technician Program of CTS Canadian Career College from Ontario, responsible for the Yeast Management and Microbiology course, as well as Brewery Hygiene, Water in the Brewery, and Lab Skills courses.

Calgarian born and raised! Will’s journey into the world of brewing began with a significant milestone in 2017 when he successfully graduated from the Olds College Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management program. That pivotal moment marked the inception of his brewing career, propelling him into the exciting and dynamic realm of craft beer.
A noteworthy chapter of his story unfolded when he became the first team member at Railyard in 2017, contributing his skills and passion to the establishment from its very inception. The decision to venture into brewing was not a random one; rather, it was sparked during his employment at a local liquor. Surrounded by an ever-evolving selection of new and intriguing beers, the spark of inspiration ignited within him, pushing him to explore the art and science of brewing.
His journey is a testament to his desire for creativity and innovation. Opting to be on the side of creation rather than retail sales, he made a conscious choice to immerse himself in the intricate process of brewing. This decision has not only shaped his career but has allowed him to express his creativity in crafting unique and memorable beer experiences.

HANNAH TAYLOR
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Hannah’s love for food and hospitality began in a family where cooking was at the heart of everyday life, sparking a passion that shaped both her education and career. With more than a decade of hands-on experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the craft and what makes a great guest experience.
Hannah first joined Railyard Brewing as Kitchen Manager, where she created the menu our guests know and love. Her talent, dedication, and leadership quickly stood out, earning her a promotion to Assistant General Manager.
In her new role, Hannah will oversee the Taproom, Kitchen, and events hosted at Railyard Brewing, making sure every visit delivers excellent service, great brews, and delicious food.

Serah came to the food service world a little later in life. After high school she initially planned to study culinary arts but chose to pursue business and architectural technologies instead. She worked in a variety of roles before finally deciding to apply for her first kitchen job. Eight years later, that decision has led to a rewarding career in the culinary field.
“Cooking for me is not just a job, it’s a way to connect and to show care. It’s an opportunity to create an experience and a reason for people to come together. That’s why I focus on quality, consistency, and creativity. Taking pride in my work drives me to keep improving and to find creative solutions that make the overall experience better.”
From her early days in a supporting role to now leading the kitchen team, Serah is committed to helping Railyard Brewing grow and succeed.

In 2017, Laura's husband Gavin embarked on a journey to merge his love for beer and business, which lead to the establishment of Railyard Brewing. As fate would have it, this venture became more than just a business; it became a venture that has evolved into a family business, and Laura plays a significant role in contributing to the success of Railyard Brewing.
Before joining Railyard, Laura's professional background was in the event industry and funds development for non-profit organizations. These experiences have equipped her with a diverse skill set that she brings to work each and every day.
"Being a part of Railyard allows me to blend my passion for effective administration duties with the fulfillment of contributing to a business that resonates with our family values".
